❤ Lipstick of the Month ❤

I love this lipstick so much. I've been wearing it all month!

Its Violetta by MAC and is described as a bright clean violet purple with an Amplified Creme finish

It might like a scary purple from the tube but it goes on like a sheer hot pink with a light purple sheen.

A good tip for applying any bright lipstick shade would be to use a tapping motion to apply the color straight from the tube.
Swiping the color on the lips would put a thicker layer of product on the lips and give a brighter bolder color.

This color is currently out of stock on MAC's website but you could ask for it at your local store.

Stay tuned for my belated "Seasonal Favorites: Fall Edition" post

Battle of the Lip Stains: Revlon Just Bitten vs. CoverGirl Outlast

Overall the winner would have to be Revlon because the color payoff is great and long-lasting.
The balm is a great bonus.

The Covergirl goes on the lips with patchy coverage and doesn't last as long.

Battle of the Hair Treatments: Carol's Daughter Monoi vs. Ojon Damage Reverse

I got both from Sephora. The Ojon was a free deluxe sample set and I bought the Carols Daughter set.
I used the Ojon set for a few months then waited another few months before using the Monoi set.

In terms of the Ojon treatment, I felt like it did a lot of good things after the first use.
My hair felt stronger and thicker and healthier.
My hair was overall shinier and easier to style.
The only drawback would be that the products STINK!

The Carols Daughter Monoi Set smelled amazing and also made my feel healthier.
It was great as well but it took many uses to see any results.

So for this battle I think i'll call it a tie.

If you're looking for a quick effective fix for damaged hair, choose the Ojon line if you dont mind the smell.

If you want something that works and smells good you could go with the Monoi line but dont expect immediate results.

Thanks for reading ^_^
